press ENTER to searchOn the second day of Open'er, we changed the route a bit between the scenes, more often choosing Alter Stage and Beat Stage. While on the mainie rock bands from the top of the radio charts (Royal Blood and Glass Animals) played, we sailed the current of storm and pressure, having fun on the punk Dead Axes and a strong set of VTSS DJs.Conclusions from yesterday's scene?Hardkor grows - we need rebellion and shout - we are angry and more and more disagreed, even when we have a great time on the festival field. The American formation played in Gdynia with a delay due to the storm threat. However, the storm miraculously bypassed the Open'er premises and on the main stage the audience greeted the Pilots with applause. The Grammy winners (for the commonly known song "Stressed Out") gave a very good concert, during which even more delicate-sounding numbers were strengthened with rock charisma, going out to the audience, climbing elements of the stage. It was our warm-up and a harbinger of the fact that we chose the sharpest items from the Thursday open'er menu. The Wrocław underground involved us a few years ago via YouTube, where Zdechły Osa magnetized his first fans with a totally organic talent that cannot be put into any of the drawers.Although some ascribe to him genres such as punk and hip hop, Osa generally has as much to say as the often repeated in his lyrics: "f ***".And it does its job.He looks like punk from Dezerter's album covers, rides and falls spectacularly on a skateboard, launches acidified livestreaming on instagram, draws, raps, smokes and bangs right off the bridge. There is as much slack in the lyrics as there is rebellion, but Osa is not an artificial anti-systemist, he does not imitate the punks from Jarocin (although his father is this generation and is also a musician). This is a trickster who makes a bit of West Coast from the Wrocław scene, as he raps in one issue, only to admit in a moment that he fell in love with his friend's mother, and then in the most beautiful way in "Patolove" to confess love with the words: "I would paint you pounding bucket".It is worthwhile to penetrate these texts flowing in a stream, not only of consciousness, (although it is not easy at a pounding pogo-drenched concert), because Osa has an above-average ability to combine simple words into surprising meanings and feels the emotional rhythm of music, like few in the history of Polish alternative music. It was already appreciated by Pezet, who discovered Osa for a wider audience in the issue of "Gorzka Woda", and right after him, the artist was stretched out by the Warner Music label after he was organic and uncontaminated by commercialism. What was Osa about that?He recorded the CD "I sold a dupe" and still cherishes his "ADHDLGBTHWDP behavior", admitting that mermaids (police guesses) would probably love if they had vaginas.Girls, listen to this guy, guys - watch your girlfriends with him, because he hits our heart rebellion.Around midnight, we changed to the feminist course to jump under the console of the Polish DJ VTSS, whom the whole of Berlin, and the Primavera festival had already known. She is a devilishly beautiful and talented girl - our national good for the club scene, which she conquers with a mixture of techno and electro, adding a bit of rave and fun with house samples (In Gdynia, the audience went crazy with Robin S "Show me love", which VTSS brilliantly wove into set). Her real name is Martyna Maja, she comes from Warsaw and was a resident of Jasna1 club (and she is still happy to return there). Her career took off very quickly - from the capital underground to the world stages, she passed through the Boiler Room, several EPs, and today she releases for Ninja Tune.Be sure to listen to the hits created already under the London banner - "Projections" and "Make You Scream".We finished this strong day of Open'er with the last concert of Thursday.Playboi Carti, an American rebellious rapper representing the genres of mumble rap and even bizarre horror rap, appeared on the scene.Save yourself the energy to penetrate the lyrics - it's not worth it, but the form of the whole, including the beat, the combination of rap with guitar riffs and Carter's charisma, knocks you off your feet and intrigues you.If you want to experience at home at least some of what we experienced in front of the stage, fire up "Magnolia", "Sky" and "wokeuplikethis".Out of curiosity, it is also worth reading about the cooperation, friendships and private life of the rapper - there are many twists here!Every week news from the world of fashion
