Cold Iron Studios has released the newest Aliens Fireteam Elite update today and it introduces Season 3: Lancer content together with its full patch notes.

Aliens Fireteam Elite update 1.03.96150 is now available and it comes with Season 3: Lancer. Expect tons of new content, bug fixes, improvements, and more. The highlights is the newest kit, Lancer and Loadout Presets.

The new kit Lancer is able to hold the line with so much firepower especially its ability, the Particle Lance. It has the passive ability called Overwatch, which lets the Lancer gain 1 stack of it a second while standing still or in cover. This increases accuracy, damage, and stability by 3 percent per stack, which is a big advantage for this kit. If they are moving or get out of cover, they will lose 1 stack of Overwatch per second.

The Particle Lance is the Lancer’s first ability. It fires a particle weapon that can penetrate all enemies in the line of fire. The only obstacle that can block this ability is the terrain so use it wisely.

The second ability is Onslaught which allows the Lancer to instantly reload a weapon and automatically reload after every shot for a duration. This increases the weapon damage and damage resistance by 20 percent, but it decreases the movement and fire rate by 20 percent.

With the Loadout Presets feature, players can now save up to 10 presets for each run. They can easily change their kits, weapons, and cosmetics in one go with each loadout preset slot.

Note: The following balancing changes have been made to Weapon Attachments. “Proc” refers to the random chance of bonus effects provided through some Attachments and Perks.

Armatures: Bracing Armature: The Max Ammo stat on this attachment has been increased to 25%.

Aliens Fireteam Elite is now available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5.
